Finally, on the 25th of june we managed to get Olga & Max home from Russia. They were actually scheduled to arrive on the 24th, but thanks to delayed, rerouted planes and bad service (mental note: DON'T EVER FLY WITH DOMODEDOVA AIRLINES) they missed their flight back to Copenhagen from Moscow, not just once but twice.Finally, on the third ticket we bought they got home safely (although tired) -

I have just reread the last posting about Max and realized how much he has grown since. He moves forward still on his tummy :-), but so fast that I cannot help calling it "crawling". He can stand on all four and rock a bit. He eats porridge for lunch and mashed carrots (so far) after afternoon nap. He keeps having two good (1,5-2 hours) naps during the day. His night sleep is from 7.30 pm til 7

Max is 3 months old today. He's has discovered that he has hands! They are good for touching the toys and, apparently, very tasty. He is also getting fond of babybjorn. He can sit vertically in it, look around at the outside world and fall asleep overwhelmed with sights.On Friday he is getting vaccination and, hopefully, will be weighted and measured. After a much needed good nights sleep with almost no interuptions weawoke this morning feeling fresh and happy. Max is so fond of olgasbreasts that he wont let go but otherwise he is a happy little guy.This morning we also found that he had dirtied his first diper and wenaturally felt proud as only parents can... In spite of lots of attention and many "Have you given birth yet?"-phone calls we're still waiting for Max's arrival. We went to the midwife monday and she checked everything and said that everything was perfect. This last weekend I went on a funfilled trip to Dublin with my old friend Allan. The trip was a surprise for him, and it was extremely fun to torture him for weeks before, him not knowing where he was going. Last thursday we went to the first scan, and everything looked fine. A bit too early to say the gender, but here's the first picture at least. Our future kid is according to the scan 12 weeks old and around 5.5 cm. It's truly an incredible feeling for the first time to see the live ultra-sound, seeing the small arms waving around and a little heart beating very fast.

The Cruise however, ended quite abruptly due to a thunderstorms rolling up from the south. We quickly got back to the harbor, and rigged a makeshift cockpit tent out of an old raincoat. Wednesday evening we had one of the best experiences so far. We went out beer-can racing on SF Bay in the most wonderful weather.
